Terms of Service

MVP Live Sports

Last updated: July 31, 2026 · Version 1.10

Welcome to MVP Live. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you request, claim, manage, or operate a venue listing, you also agree to the venue owner terms in Section 5.

1. Eligibility

You must provide accurate registration information. Self-registration requires that you are at least 13 years old. Athletes under 13 must be added by a parent or guardian who is at least 18 through Parent profile (Create youth athlete) after the parent creates their own account. If you are under 18, your profile may be set to private by default. Parents or guardians are responsible for minors who use the app, including linked parent accounts used to approve tournament and paid league sign-ups. Venue owner accounts and payment setup (including Stripe Connect) are intended for adults with authority to act for the venue.

2. Your account

You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. Do not share your password or impersonate another person. You may sign in with email and password, Sign in with Apple, or Google Sign-In where available. If you invite staff or grant others access to manage a venue, you remain responsible for their actions under your account or staff roles.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to harass others, post unlawful content, cheat in competitions, manipulate scores or rankings, or interfere with events, venues, or tournaments. You can report objectionable content in the app or email our moderation team at support@mvplivesports.com. We may remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

4. Events, venues, and tournaments

Hosts and venue owners may organize pickups, events, and tournaments and may set entry or sign-up fees where the app supports payments. MVP Live provides tools to organize, discover, and score play but does not guarantee event safety, availability, facility quality, or outcomes. Participate at your own risk and follow venue and host rules. If a venue owner or host cancels a live tournament, refund eligibility follows the reason selected in the app and Section 7.

MVP Live may show public and claimed venues on maps and Explore so athletes can find places to play. Some listings are seeded public facilities without an owner; others are claimed or managed by a venue owner after approval.

5. Venue owners and listings

This section applies if you request venue access, claim a venue, create or edit a venue listing, connect payouts, host or approve events at a venue, or manage venue staff.

Authority. You represent that you have the right and authority to manage the venue (or that you are authorized by the owner or operator). You must not claim venues you do not control.

License to list and operate. You grant MVP Live a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, adapt (for formatting), and distribute your venue listing and related materials in the app and related services. That includes venue name, description, address and map location, sports and amenities, photos and media you upload, contact details you choose to show, event and schedule information, and other content you submit for the listing. You authorize us to show the venue in Explore, search, maps, deep links, share previews, and other product surfaces needed to run the service.

Events at your venue. Depending on venue settings and your approvals, athletes and hosts may create pickups, practice sessions, tournaments, or other events associated with your listing. You are responsible for rules you publish (including private/public, fees, and staff controls) and for how you manage requests and events at your location.

Payments and Stripe. If you use paid entry fees, practice payments, or payouts, payments are processed by Stripe (including Stripe Connect where applicable). You authorize MVP Live and Stripe to process charges, platform and processing fees shown at checkout, refunds according to these Terms and in-app cancellation reasons, and payouts to the bank account or payout method you connect. You must complete any Stripe identity or business verification required. Stripe's terms also apply. MVP Live is not a bank and does not hold funds except as Stripe and the product flows describe.

Staff and roles. You may grant staff or other roles access to help manage the venue. You are responsible for those users' activity on your listing.

Reviews and reputation. Athletes may leave ratings or reviews related to events or venues. MVP Live may display them and may moderate or remove content that violates these Terms. We are not a party to disputes between you and athletes.

Moderation and control. We may approve, deny, suspend, unlink, or remove venue access or listings (for example for fraud, safety, inaccurate claims, abuse, or legal risk). Seeded public listings may remain available even if an ownership request is denied.

Your responsibilities. You are solely responsible for the physical venue, safety, insurance, permits, local law compliance, on-site conditions, and interactions with people at your facility. MVP Live does not inspect facilities and is not responsible for injuries or property damage at your location.

Ending management. You may stop managing a venue through the tools we provide, subject to open events, pending payouts, and refund obligations. Ending management does not cancel MVP Plus or other store subscriptions.

6. User content

You retain ownership of content you submit, including profile photos, venue and event photos, reviews, messages, and listing text. You grant MVP Live a license to host, display, process, and use that content to operate, improve, promote (in product surfaces such as share cards and Explore), and secure the service. You represent that you have the rights needed to grant this license and that your content does not infringe others' rights.

7. Tournament and league payments and refunds

Paid tournament entry fees are charged as a venue entry fee plus a separate service fee that covers MVP Live platform and card processing costs. The venue entry fee is shown separately from the service fee at checkout. For motocross tournaments with multiple classes, the venue entry fee is charged per class entered.

League team sign-up fees work the same way: a league sign-up fee plus a separate service fee at checkout. Payment is collected when a team accepts a league invite or completes enrollment after commissioner approval. Athletes under 18 must have a linked parent or guardian account for league enrollment. Athletes under 13 need parent or team staff approval for free or paid leagues; athletes 13–17 may self-enroll in free leagues when linked, and need parent or team staff approval for paid leagues. The parent or another team member who is 18 or older may pay a paid league fee on the team's behalf.

Service and processing fees are non-refundable for tournaments and leagues. If a tournament is canceled, only the venue entry fee portion may be refunded. When a cancellation is marked as attendance (no-show), only athletes who checked in for that tournament are eligible for an entry-fee refund. For other tournament cancellation reasons, eligible paid entrants may receive an entry-fee refund.

A league season is considered started once the schedule has been generated and the league season start date has been reached. If a league is cancelled by the commissioner before the season starts, eligible paid league sign-up fees may be refunded (venue sign-up fee only; service and processing fees are excluded). If you leave or are removed from a league before the season starts, the same refund rules apply to any sign-up fee your team paid. After the season has started, the commissioner may abandon the season without refunds. Refunds exclude service and processing fees.

Optional tournament donations are voluntary payments processed by Stripe. Donations are non-refundable once completed. MVP Live may retain a platform and processing fee on donations as shown at checkout.

8. MVP Plus subscriptions

MVP Plus is an optional paid membership purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play (processed via RevenueCat). Subscription price, billing period, and included features are shown in the app before you purchase.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your device's subscription settings. Deleting your MVP Live account does not cancel an active store subscription.

MVP Live does not process subscription refunds directly. Refund requests for in-app subscriptions must be submitted through Apple or Google according to their policies. Free-tier limits (such as daily pickup hosting caps) apply unless an active MVP Plus membership is on your account.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time in Profile → Profile Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for other users. Suspension of a venue listing or venue-owner access may occur independently of full account termination when needed for safety or compliance.

10. Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" without warranties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MVP Live is not liable for injuries, disputes between users or venues, facility conditions, lost data, payment network failures, or damages arising from your use of the service. MVP Live is a software platform, not the operator of third-party venues or events unless we expressly say otherwise.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by an updated version number and effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms. Venue owners who continue to manage listings after material venue-related updates also accept those updates.
